“ Tried their oxtail stuffed patty and my girlfriend got a regular patty with coco bread. Both were delicious! Wait times for food are a bit on the longer side, but the wait is worth it. Food here is prepped with care and quality in mind. My picture of the oxtail patty may be unassuming, but wait until you flip the top up - an overflow of delicious oxtail and coleslaw! It lived up to its viral hype. I recommend this shop to everyone looking for some top notch Caribbean eats. ”
“ Jerk chicken was really good! Super tasty, meat was juicy, and rice and peas was really good. Oxtail stuffed patties was really good too! Had to try it after seeing it all over instagram. Very generous portion sizes, and fair prices. ”
“ My experience was spectacular. Being a viral food critic, walking in seeing Stacy’s face light up was so heart warming. Oxtailpapi and I got the viral stuffed oxtail patty, curry goat patty, jerk chicken poutine, and some drinks. Let me tell you I drove over 2 hours to try this and the wait was worth it. These flavours were insane and the food is solidified. I enjoyed the warm hospitality from Stacy and the team and I will be back for more. I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone. ”
“ Get the ox tail sandwich special! It was awesome! The oxtail is in a Pattie in a coco bread. It was so good n they can sell out fast. The curry chicken on rice and peas was amazing. Rice was very flavourful. ”
“ The food tastes great. We had the BBQ, Fried, and jerk chicken meals. Not disappointed. My favorite was the BBQ, Abi loved the jerk. The fried chicken was crispy, flavourful and moist. At first glance, the rice appeared to moist- I dislike dry grainy rice- but the rice was a treat by itself. The kicker was the rice and slaw together. Oh, the soup, the chicken soup had chunks of chicken a little cartilage in the joints, good healthy portion of dumplings and veggies. Everytime I think I am done there is more...the festival and fry plantain were delicious The portion sizes made me realize that Stacy is a person that shares and cares about value. The meat offering made me double take. We went on Saturday at 1:30pm. Was it busy? Yes. Was the wait excessive? Kind of. Was it worth it? Absolutely. The wait was made all the more manageable by the friendly patrons and everyone's understanding. Food services is hard and tiring. The staff looked busy and hurried. I appreciated their efforts during this rush. I pray them collective and individual success. Stacy's offering is indeed an offer of a dream and love made manifest. Four rating is too low...so had to pull the 5 ”
“ After waiting in line for over an hour to get the famous oxtail stuffed patty, I wanted not to like it. The service was slow and disorganized, there were rude, loud customers all over the place...it didn’t matter. This was the most amazing beef patty filled sandwich I’ve ever had. Great portion and filled with tender, melt in your mouth, rich flavourful oxtail. The crisp patty and soft coco bread were perfect as well. One of the best sandwich/cheap eats spots in Toronto without a doubt. Anytime I’m somewhat close to Stacy’s I’ll have to think about getting one of these. I’m sure the rest of the menu is awesome as well. I would just make sure to call it in ahead of time or not go during peak hours. ”
“ Get the jerk pork and ask them to add the bbq sauce 10 out of 10 for sure!! I lived at warden and Sheppard 2 years and slept on this spot. The curry goat is great but it has a PROPER amount of spice (I’m from Alabama and it’s spicy to me, but maybe not to someone who grew up up on curry). The Pattie’s are good, maybe a notch under Patty Good but still pretty good. Worth every cent you pay. Plantain we’re weren’t and tender but not greasy. ”
“ My friend had the oxtail stuffed patty and I ordered the jerk chicken meal. The jerk chicken meal wasn’t anything special but the patty was stuffed with plenty of oxtail. Coco bread was soft and flavourful with the patty. While the meat was tender and seasoned well. There was not a lot of fat compared to other places and definitely enough meat. Not too much breading and just the right amount of meat for every bite. Around 15 so it is on the expensive side but definitely worth it because of the amount of meat. There is a good 20-30 minute wait time when you order this in person. I was told you can order online to have it ahead of time. I would definitely recommend this! ”
